More Machines
You can set up 99
machines for each
machine type.
Four mill types.
Four turning center
types.
Four combination
machine types.
Machine is ON
The software is
behaving the same as
a machine in real life.
In order to open the
machine and remove
or install tools a
machine has to be off.
Select a machine that
is ON and you can
only see in-active tool
information.
Some operators prefer to remove all the tools
from a machine before setting up for a new job.
In this case don’t select each tool individually.
In “Settings” is a button that will remove all tools
from a selected machine and will set all Work
Offsets to zero.
Frequently asked Questions to Tool Transfer:
Can I set up for a new job using Tool Transfer: Yes you can. Use your Set-up sheet and place the tools in the software into
the tool changer pockets required for this job. A set-up O007 program is created and sent to the machine with the offsets for
the installed tools.
Why using the Job Control module instead of Tool Transfer: In Tool Transfer the program does not relate your tool placement
to a job. You will always place the tools manually.
Why can’t I place a duplicate tool: You can. Go to Settings and enable this option. In general there is no need to duplicate a
tool. So the program alerts you. If you however need a duplicate in Lights-Out operation and Tool Life management the
program allows you to do that.
Why can’t I un-install a tool: You have to select a tool in the “Pocket No” column first.
Can I install any tool I have: Yes you can. If a tool you have is not in the database, select “Install NST Tool”. NST stands for
“Non System Tool”.
Can I change Offset locations: Yes you can but only for Non System Tools and you have to select a location number that is
above the number of tools available in the tool changer.
